Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. What you are charged for
Areaviser has no subscription and no per-user licence, so there is no prepaid period to refund. There is one up-front charge — the setup fee, which pays for your company’s telephone number, its carrier registration and the work of building your account. Everything after it is charged for use: a percentage of the invoices your customers pay through the platform, deducted as those payments settle, and metered pass-through items such as text messages and the telephone number allocated to your account. Metered usage is totalled at the end of each month and charged in arrears.
2. Stopping
- There is no term to see out and no cancellation notice. Stop using the platform, or ask us to close the account by writing to [email protected] from the account owner’s address.
- The usage already accrued in the current month is still due, and the final invoice is issued at the normal month end.
- Your data stays available for export for 30 days after the account closes — see the Privacy Policy for what happens after that.
3. Refunds and corrections
We correct or refund a charge in these cases:
- Duplicate or incorrect charge. Refunded in full once confirmed.
- Metering error. If usage was counted against your account in error, we refund or credit the difference and tell you what went wrong.
- Fee taken on a payment you refunded. If you refund your customer in full within 30 days, we return our percentage of that payment. The processor’s own charges follow its rules.
- Setup fee, before the work starts. Refunded in full if you change your mind before we buy the telephone number and begin onboarding. Once the number is purchased and registered the fee is not refundable, because the carriers have already been paid.
- Extended outage. If the platform is unavailable for a prolonged period through our fault, we credit the affected usage on request.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method, or credited against the next monthly invoice, within 5–10 business days of approval, and we email confirmation either way.
4. Custom agreements
Where an order form or written agreement sets different rates or terms, that document prevails over this policy for the account it covers.
5. Failed payments
If a charge fails we retry it and notify the account owner. If it remains unpaid, access may be suspended after 7 days and the account may be closed after 30 days. Data is not deleted during a suspension.
6. Payments your customers make to you
This policy covers what you pay AREAVISER Corporation for the software and its usage. It does not cover the money your own customers pay you through the platform. Refunding a customer for service work is your decision and your obligation, executed through Moov Financial, Inc. from your own connected account. AREAVISER Corporation does not hold those funds and cannot issue or reverse those payments on your behalf.
7. Chargebacks
If you dispute one of our charges with your bank, please contact us first — a dispute takes weeks to resolve, while a support ticket usually takes a day. Accounts with an open dispute may be suspended until it is closed.
8. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with the account name, the invoice number and what happened. We reply within two business days. Support is staffed Mon–Fri, 8:00–18:00 PT, and you can also call +1 (213) 424-7101.
